I have to ask, since you just posted a pic of Henry, what do you think of his recent comments on Robin Williams and suicide in general? People are up in arms over it.

Quite frankly, I had to look his post up right now, ‘cause I didn’t know about his comments. Well, I think he is always quite intense in his very set mind that he often appears to be quite of an asshole. I do get that what keeps you from ending your life is the people that love you and that commiting suicide in that sense might be a sign of egotism, but I do think that this view is quite random in its conception. Depression can be  much more complicated than just feeling down and I don’t believe that individuals who suffer from severe cases of it and are suicidal can process logically or even emotionally how much people are going to be hurt by their actions, or anything else beyond the impasse their brains have reached, for that matter. To be quite honest, I think it’s much more egotistical to accuse someone that commited suicide that they should have thought about you when they did it. And I know children are not in a position to understand that, but it is the job of other grown- ups to explain it to them. Then again, this is my opinion and it is of little importance, I guess. But I also believe that when Henry mentions this, “For all the people who walked from the grocery store back to their house, only to be met by a robber who shot them in the head for nothing — you gotta hang in there.” he doesn’t seem to have completely overcome his own struggles  either, so he should know better when someone is not strong enough to cope. Because not everyone has the same amount of strength and psychological problems are often chemical reactions which one cannot even control.
